Silky Terrier Rescue Charitable Trust

Texas Silky Quilt The Silky Terrier Rescue Charitable Trust is thankful for all of those who support our efforts to rescue Silky Terriers in need. We are auctioning this beautiful hand-made quilt features a Silky within the Texas Lone Star State logo created for the 2001 Silky Terrier Club of America National Specialty held in Dallas, Texas in March 2001. The quilt was auctioned at the Specialty with proceeds benefiting Silky Rescue. It has now been donated back to Silky Terrier Rescue by Tom Edwards, husband of long-time STCA member and Silky lover Joan Edwards.

The quilt is over nine years old, but in excellent condition except for some slight fading. The workmanship is superb (our photo just does not do it justice). The quilt measures approximately 6ft wide and 7ft in length. This unique piece would be equally dramatic as a wall hanging or bed cover.

All proceeds from this auction will be used to pay for veterinary expenses such as vaccinations and spay/neuter for Silky Terriers in our rescue program.
