Hey! They call me "Red"! Do you think it's because of my unusual cinnamon color? I have to admit that I have very striking looks. I'm a small boy, only weighing about 8 pounds. I need to gain a little weight, since being lost and being in a shelter were hard on me. Life got better for me the day a nice lady took me from the shelter and gave me to Silky Rescue. Even though I have not had it easy in my life, I am a good-natured boy with a lot of love to give. Just give me a chance to be your dog!
I am between one and two years old. I am neutered, my shots are up to date, and my teeth are clean. I have been tested for parasites and I don't have any. I am microchipped and I can kinda walk on a leash. I get along with other dogs, but not so much with cats!

Check out my new video! I like to sleep next to you on the sofa, so be sure to leave some room for me. I have just discovered that there are things called TOYS and I am learning to play with them. I like the kind that squeak. I can jump right out of an exercise pen, so a secure fence is very important. I'm an active dog and I roll on the carpet and run around the house, so my new family should be active, too. I like children, but only older ones, please. My ideal home would have a doggie door with a little yard and a secure fence.

Red's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him. Preference will be given to local applicants. His adoption fee is $250.
