Silky Terrier Rescue Charitable Trust

This unique quilt was fashioned around a Liberty Bell theme to commemorate the gathering of Silky Terriers and their people in Philadelphia in 2006. It features different renderings of the Silky Terrier from detailed embroidery work to artfully designed appliques to colorful designs reminiscent of folk art. Interspersed among the squares are embroidered sentiments in tribute to a beloved Silky. Each square was created and donated by a person involved with Silky Rescue. A dramatic and colorful statement was made by pulling these varied contributions into a one-of-a-kind, must-have piece that would be equally dramatic as a wall hanging or bed cover.

The dimensions of this beautiful quilt are 64 inches by 48 inches. The backing of the quilt is black.

All proceeds from this auction will be used to pay for veterinary expenses such as vaccinations and spay/neuter for Silky Terriers in our rescue program.
