Looking for a Home

Peanut My name is Peanut and this is my story. I am a 3 year old neutered male Silky Terrier. My owner took me to the shelter and left me there. That might have been my last stop if it hadn't been for Silky Rescue. I am a dog that must have medicine every day to keep me from having a seizure. Otherwise, I feel just fine, thank you, and I am a lively active boy.
My medicine doesn't cost much and I am happy to take my pill, so I hope you will consider giving me a new home. My shots are up to date, I am cute and healthy otherwise, and my beautiful silver and blond coat is growing back every day! I sleep quietly in a crate at night. I would do best in a home with a doggie door so I can go out whenever I need to.

Peanut I'm very happy to play with all the toys you have, especially the squeaky ones. All you have to do is throw whatever I bring to you. You can play with me and never leave the couch! One of the words I know is "ball". I am a good friend to other dogs, I can climb right out of an exercise pen, and I like having company. I don't bark much. I am good at riding in the car and I listen when you talk to me. I can "sit", "down", "come" and I am learning "stay" and "quiet". My foster Mom and Dad think I'm a funny guy.
Peanut's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him. His adoption fee will be $150. Preference will be given to local applicants.
