Spikey ~ in Massachusetts Looking for a Home

Hello - I would like to introduce myself - I am Spikey and I live in MA. Would you believe that the family I lived with for all of my 12 years tried to have me put down because I pooped on the floor??? Did they ever think that maybe if they had opened the door I might have gone outside?? It is pretty obvious that I didn't get much care for the last few years, but my foster mom says that I am going to be fine soon. Would you please let me live with you so that I don't have to worry about my care any more? I really am a good boy - sniff at the cats, but they are gone almost as soon as I find them. Other dogs are not a problem, and I am neutered and pretty well housebroken as long as you open the door - hello!!! Oh, there's one more thing...I just love to sit on your lap, so if you're looking for a lap warmer, I'm your guy!
	I also have a little problem seeing, but am getting some drops in my eyes now and that may get better in a couple of weeks. I am crate trained, just had a dental, up to date on my vaccines and heartworm, come with heartworm preventative pills and flea meds, plus meds for my eyes and a rash I have around my mouth, but that will get better with treatment too. Spikey's adoption fee will be $75. Preference will be given to local or in state applicants. Spikey's's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him.
