Andy ~ in California

Looking for a Home

Andy, I am! I'm going to have a half birthday on March 2 and I'll be 6 months old. When I came to my foster home I was in a world of bad shape. I was matted to the skin and had a big knot of hair between my eyes. I had many ticks, too, and my foster mom thinks that I had probably spent a lot of time outdoors. I'm not telling! I've learned lots of words here, especially the word NO. Seems no one taught me that whatever I want to do isn't always good for me. I love to play and get along with all the dogs and the cat. I sometimes forget my manners and get carried away with being a goofy puppy but the older campers put me in my place. I learn really fast and I want to please. I use a doggie door and sleep in a crate. I'm a long, tall drink of water....much lankier that most silky's and I weigh 13.5 lbs.

andy I like to put my front feet on my foster mom's lap and put my head down and have her pet me. I really like the attention. The reason I'm in the rescue program is that I bit a child when he tried to take my toy away from me. He had been teasing me and I had enough. I have shown no signs of aggression towards my foster family or visitors but they never tease me. I don't want to be around any children because they can be mean and I don't ever want to get in trouble, again. My foster mom tells me that I'm a sweetie pie. I wonder if that's something good to eat??

Andy's adoption fee will be $200. Preference will be given to local or in state applicants. Andy's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him.
