Charlie ~ in Southern California

Looking for a Home

Hi. I am Puppy Charlie, or "Dear Sweet Puppy Baby Boy" as my foster Mom calls me. I am only six months old and still quite fuzzy. Just a baby and already looking for a home. Sigh... I have very good manners, except for a little chewing, pestering the big dog, and marking in the house just a little. I am still very young, but Foster Mom says I am learning really fast.

I have learned to sleep quietly in the crate, to potty when F.M. takes me outside, and to come when she calls me. I am still working on house training and not crying when I am left alone. I like everybody and I never growl or try to bite. I like to play with other dogs, but they seem to get tired of having me jump on them after a little bit, but I am learning to take a hint. I travel well in the car.

Charlie's ideal home will have someone who can spend a lot of time with him and match his energy and be willing to continue to help him learn his manners. Charlie should have a safe, secure fenced yard to run and play in. He likes children, but only kind, gentle children over 8 years of age in the household will be considered. He likes other dogs and is always willing to play. We don't know about cats, but he would probably like them, too. Charlie has a known allergy to vaccinations, so his new owner will have to always take note of this. He has a microchip and is in very good health, except for some retained baby teeth.

Charlie is extremely willing to please, has a soft temperament, yet is brave. He would make a good dog for someone who would like to compete in AKC Obedience.

Charlie's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to take proper care of him. Local applicants will be given preference. His adoption fee is $400.00. If you interested in Charlie, please fill out an application and mention his name. The application is on-line at If you have already filled out an application, it is not necessary to re-do it...just email us at and let us know you are interested in Charlie (please include your name and state so we can find your application in our files).
