Simon ~ in Southern California

Looking for a Home

Everyone loves a clown -- and thatís what you get with Simon. Still a puppy at heart, Simon is about one year old, ever playful, inquisitive, sweet and loving. He weighs about 11 pounds. He greets everyone he meets with "extreme wiggles"- who knew a little doggie body could move in so many different directions at once . . . and then get ready for all those kisses!!

Simon A little guy as active as Simon is not going to be stopped by baby gates or indoor fences - he leaps right over them. He would certainly need a secure home and yard - and perhaps someone to take him running. However, he will stay quietly in a crate when "time-out" is called. And, he spends evenings dozing on a warm lap during tv shows. He gets along well with other dogs (though he can be a pest if he wants to keep playing).
Simon was labeled as a Silky Terrier by the shelter where he spent three long weeks. He is a terrier mix with the coat of a "black fluffy" Silky. He has a natural, undocked tail and drop ears. He was recently neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and is microchipped. Simonís housebreaking habits need improvement so weíre working on that. He is very treat motivated which has helped in his training.

Simon needs someone to give him lots of time and attention - at least during his "male adolescence" stage. A doggie playmate would be wonderful for him. The adoption fee for Simon is $250.
