Nate ~ in San Francisco

Looking for a Home

Hi! My name is Nate and I am a cute Silky boy. I am about 3 years old and weigh about 13 pounds. My daddy gave me up because he moved to Georgia and couldn’t take me with him. I like people, but I get aggressive with other animals. My foster mommy thinks that part of my aggression is because I get scared. But I am working on my aggression. My “gentle lead,” a special collar has helped a lot, and my foster mommy thinks I will get better with patience and training. The lead helps me feel safe and not as aggressive.

I have not received any obedience training but it looks interesting to me. I’ve noticed that when I do something that my foster mommy likes I get treats, so I think I would like school. I must have obedience training because it will make me and my new parent happy. I am a great pal. I bond quickly and I love to play fetch, chew on my chew toys and turn around in circles when I am excited. I only play with my own toys. Sometimes if my foster mommy is doing something, I will quietly bring her a toy so she can play with me. I am quiet, very cuddly and affectionate. I am potty and crate trained. My foster mommy leaves me in an “ex-pen” when she is gone and I am always a very good boy. I have all my shots, have been neutered, and have a chip. I would like to be an only pet so I can play and cuddle with my new family all by myself.

Preference will be given to local or in state applicants. Anna Belle's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him, and there will be an adoption fee or donation.
