Nick ~ in Southern California
Looking for a Home
Nick is a sweetheart. He will be five years old in November. For most of his life, Nick was either tied outside in the front yard, or in the garage. Because he has spent so little time in the house, he is not house trained or crate trained, but he is making progress in this area...he's a very smart boy and very eager to please. In spite of the conditions he endured in the past, he has a very loving personality. He loves to get attention and to give kisses. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home. Nick is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and had his teeth cleaned in September. His coat is a little short, but we think that may be due to a poor diet and with proper food it will probably grow out just fine. We are looking for a wonderful, forever home for Nick. We prefer not to ship him, so anyone interested in adopting him will need to come and meet him (although we would be willing to help by meeting the adopters part way). Nick is in southern California at this time. His new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for him, and there will be an adoption fee or donation of $150. If you have room in your home and heart for Nick, please fill out an application and mention his name. The application is on-line at http://SilkyRescue.tripod.com/appform.htm. If you have already filled out an application, it is not necessary to re-do it...just email SilkyRescueApplications@yahoo.com.
Please note that there is an adoption pending for Nick.
