LadyBug ~ in Southern California

Looking for a Home

ladybug
"I am a very happy seven year old girl named Lady Bug and I am looking for a home where someone would enjoy all the affection and attention that I have to share. I am big on tail wagging and giving kisses and one of my favorite things is to keep someone company while they are busy on the computer or ????"

"My foster mom says I have very good house manners and I love going out the doggy door and sometimes I stay outside to lay in the sun on the deck. I love to play (have a favorite giggle ball) and if everyone is busy, will play by myself. I wouldn't think of chewing on anything but my toys. I like to sleep on the bed but I will sleep on a blanket on the floor if that makes everyone happier. One of my favorite things is to go in the car and visit people (especially at nursing homes) and I am very good at walking on a leash. I even took a very long plane ride in a sherpa bag one time and I really enjoyed that too. I love to go everywhere with you but if I can't go, I will take a nap until you get back."

"I am in very good health, have lots of energy and I will always tell you when someone is at the front door. I am a good eater (I get so excited about dinner that I run in circles!) and my favorite treats are little carrots, string beans and broccoli. I have an "aussie" coat and clean cut ears so I am very easy to care for."

We are looking for a forever home for Lady Bug and her foster mom will drive her to anywhere in California/Nevada. She is in southern California at this time. Lady Bug would probably do best as an only dog. She is neutered and up to date on her vaccinations.

Ladybug's new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to provide proper care for her, and there will be an adoption fee or donation of $150. If you have room in your home and heart for Ladybug, please fill out an application and mention her name. The application is on-line at http://SilkyRescue.tripod.com/appform.htm. If you have already filled out an application, it is not necessary to re-do it...just email SilkyRescue@yahoo.com.
