Lila ~ in Southern California

Looking for a Home

Lila I am Lila. You have probably noticed that I am not a Silky. I am part Yorkie, as you can see by my Yorkie coat. Iím also something else, as you can see by my long legs. So what am I doing in Silky Rescue? I was picked up as a stray in the desert. When the animal control officer nabbed me, I thought about biting him. At that shelter, that was a death sentence. The shelter workers liked me so much that they worked hard to find a rescue group to take me, so Silky Rescue responded when they called my foster Mom. Just so you know, the biting thing is a big bluff!

I am a spayed female about 2 years old. I am also very cute. I love to snuggle with my foster Mom and Dad, but when they are busy, I hang around in the Xpen. I sleep in the crate at night. I weigh about 7 pounds, and I am quite slender. I am housebroken, have all my shots, and I am pretty good with walking on a leash. I would like to spend long relaxing hours on your lap.

Lila has a long curved tail, long skinny legs and an adorable face. She gets along just fine with the dogs in her foster home. There are no cats here, so we donít know about them. Lila can get a bit mouthy, but has never bitten anyone here nor at the vetís. She cries when she is left alone, so it would be really nice if her new home had someone around a lot of the time. Because of the mouthiness, we will not place her in a home with children.

Lilaís new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to take proper care of her. Local applicants will be given preference. Her adoption fee is $150.00. If you are interested in Lila, please fill out an application and mention her name. The application is on-line at http://SilkyRescue.tripod.com. If you have already filled out an application, it is not necessary to re-do it...just email us at SilkyRescueApps@gmail.com and let us know you are interested in Lila (please include your name and state so we can find your application in our files).
