Honey ~ in Colorado

Looking for a Home

Honey Hi there! My name is Honey and boy did I get the best name 'cuz I am a real honey! My previous mom adopted me from a shelter and had me for four years. She had to give me up because she was going into a senior care facility and couldn't take me with her. She loved me very much and had a really hard time with losing me, but she made a great choice to put me into rescue. I also had a blown ACL and she couldn't afford the surgery, so rescue took care of that for me.

I'm about six or seven years young. I'm really a very healthy, happy and active girl. I'm 14 pounds (and could really stand to be a pound lighter) but I will eat everything in sight if allowed to. I love my treats! Wow! My Foster mom gets the best treats around. I currently live with four yorkie boys. I love to play with them and one in particular is my favorite buddy. I love lots of toys and will squeak them endlessly. I must have a very securely fenced yard and not allowed out front without a harness and leash as I will run like the dickens if given the chance. I also like to play keep away. Foster mom doesn't seem to like that game very much though.

I'm housetrained and use a doggie door. I can stay in a crate at night if I have to, but I really will put up a fuss for a while. I have lots of soft squeaky toys and I love all of them. When I go for a walk, I must be on a harness and leash or I will be gone! I love to snuggle and I'm a kisser, so watch out. Foster mom says I'm a beautiful girl and that I have a wonderful disposition. I am current on my vetting and recovering from my ACL surgery. My ideal home would be with a family that would allow me to be the center of the universe and love me endlessly. I would like a lot of activity, so some very responsible teens would be nice. I need a very secure yard and daily walks. I always demand lots of snuggle time as I'm really a very loving girl. I would do well as the only dog or if there is a male that is about my size, but I am dominant so please keep that in mind (you know how it is with us ladies!). Honey
