Buttons and Bows
Ta, Ta.....we finally are ready to be adopted. We're Buttons and Bows, the unmatched pair. We were in sad shape when we got out of the shelter and it took time to have us looking beautiful. You see, we had demodex mange and we didn't look very pretty and we had to wait for our skin to heal before we could get spayed.
|I'm Buttons, the silky, and Bows is my daughter from a one night stand. He was very handsome but not a silky......more like a black miniature poodle. I'm 3 years old and Bows is 7 months old. We've learned so much since we got out of the shelter....like we don't stand in the dishwasher now and we know how to use a doggie door and Bows will pop in her crate when asked but me, I roll over on my back and wag my tail....doesn't work though, I still have to go in my crate. We eat in our crates and you should see me when I know it's time to eat. I jump and spin, jump and spin and Bows just jumps because she hasn't learned the spin part......yet. Bows can even put her front paws on the kitchen counter so beware of the counter surfer. We both love stuffed toys and if one of the other dogs has a toy that Bows wants, I take it from them and give it to her. Sit down and Bows will be on your lap but I'll be happy just being at your feet.|
|We really stick together and are very devoted to one another so it has been decided that we will need to find a home together as the unmatched pair because it would be sad for us to be separated.
We would do best in a home with no other dogs or, maybe, just one boy dog. We can be vocal so it would be best if we had a home that is a single family home.....no apartments or condos because neighbors might not like our "talking". We're very interested in cats.....aren't they supposed to be chased? We haven't been exposed to children at our foster home but children 10 years or older would probably be fun for us. If someone needs a jogging partner, we're both up to the task and would love to keep you company.
Buttons and Bows are very intelligent and learn very quickly. Their house manners have improved tremendously. Buttons is calmer than Bows...Bows is full of being a pup and absolutely enjoying life.
|Buttons' and Bows' new family will be expected to sign a contract agreeing to take proper care of them. Preference will be given to applicants within the surrounding area. Please note that we do not ship our rescues. There is an adoption fee -- but it is ONE fee of $300 for TWO dogs...both Buttons and Bows...what a deal! If you are interested in Buttons and Bows, please fill out an application and mention their names. The application is on-line at http://SilkyRescue.tripod.com/appform.htm. If you have already filled out an application, it is not necessary to re-do it...just email us at SilkyRescueApplications@yahoo.com and let us know you are interested in Buttons and Bows (please include your name and state so we can find your application in our files).|
